Solo

Solo projects are the most personal none filtered encounter an interpreter has both with the creator (composer) and the audience. To me it is a medium I keep rare and precious just as ensemble actors do in theatre. With that in mind am trying to focus mostly on new creations which bare the potential for a discovery while at the same time I try every now and then to revisit some classics (“the canon”) and offer a hopefully new and genuine interpretation. This approach is most obvious in my recent album – “33RPM” – with music ranging from Steve Reich to Clemens Gadenstaetter or respectively in “Sgorgo Y, No, oO” – an album dedicated solely to new music by Italian composer Pierluigi Billone.
